Color Poem

This poem offers the students the opportunity to write a poem and then create a presentation of their poem through selection of the font, graphics and changing their color word to the color named. 

The students were shown the poetry template for this poem and we completed a practice poem together on the SMARTBoard.

Next, the students opened their templates and began writing their poems on the computer.  When completed, they added their title, the color they wrote about.

Then the students were given the Student Guide and they then followed the instructions to create their final project.
