The Interesting Starfish

     Starfish are the stars of the ocean.  The starfish can grow up to 3 cm to 12 across.  The colors can be different.  The common seastar is bright orange.  Starfish move slowly with their five legs.  It eats clams and fish.  The starfish can lay lots of eggs.  The coral reef is the home of starfish.  #3

The Wonderful Whale

     The wonderful black and white killer whale is 33 ft long.  The awesome killer whale moves by using its flukes.  It eats fish, squid, bird, turtles, seals and dolphins.  The killer whale lives in groups called pods.  #8

Great White Shark

     The great white shark is a dangerous animal.  The great white shark can be a man-eater.  The size of a shark ranges to about 25 ft. long.  The open sea is the shark's home.  The shark is important to the food chain of the open sea.  Sharks never stop swimming.  If they stop swimming they will die.  #2

The Dazzling Dolphin

    The dolphins are the playful beauties of the ocean.  They travel in groups called schools.  To swim the dolphin has to flip, flip its flipper and their pectoral fins.  All kinds of dolphins eat mainly fish and red squid.  Dolphins live in all the tropical and warm oceans.  A dolphin  is 12 feet (3.7 m) long.  That means it weighs more that 1,400 pounds (635 kg).  A dolphin is mostly black and white.  I can dive far down, more than 1000 feet (300 cm).  It can jump 20 feet out of water and dive into the water.  The dolphin tries to avoid big sharks and killer whales.  Finally the dolphins have a single calf at summer after10-11 months.  Dolphins are usually found the the open sea.  #5

The Little Brown Seahorse

     A seahorse is a very unusual animal.  The seahorse travels very slowly.  It can hide by changing colors.  It hides from its enemy.  The seahorse lives in groups.  It has over 100 babies.  In the ocean nothing ends.  The seahorse is found in the coral reef.  #4

The Interesting Porcupine Fish

    A porcupine fish could have alot of poisons.  A porcupine fish has a lot of prickly spines too.  A porcupine fish is 20 inches long.  Porcupine fish are yellow.  A porcupine fish ahs a special way of swallowing water that puffs the fish up.  If it puffs up too much, it blows up and dies.  #15

The Giant Manta Ray

     The manta ray flies through the sea with its wings.  Manta rays mostly eat plankton.  Manta rays can fly 15 feet out of the water.  It is white and black with gray spots on the back.  Manta rays can be 2 feet long.  Manta rays are the coolest sea creatures. #12

The Great Cuttlefish

     The cuttlefish can change its color to all kinds of colors.  The cuttlefish can spray ink to confuse its predators from eating it.  The cuttlefish is a fish that swims extremely fast.  They weight around 1 or 2 pounds.  The are not very big.  #15

The Cool Clown Fish

     A clown fish is very interesting.  The clown fish has different colors.  It has orange, blue and white stripes.  It has white teeth.  It lays eggs in the water.  A clown fish has a tail fin to swim with.  The clown fish lives in the warm ocean.  The clown fish eats crustaceans and other reef organisms.   The clown fish lives in the southwestern Pacific north of Queen island.  The clown fish is 4 1/4  inches long.  The anemone protects the clown fish.  #1

The Unusual Wrasse

     The wrasse is an unusual animal.  The wrasse is a very long fish.  The size of the wrasse is 30 cm.  The wrasse lives in the shallow sea.  The wrasse is a little doctor fish.  The wrasse lives alone.  Wrasse eat small crustaceans and sea urchins.  There are a bunch of animals that want to eat the wrasse.  The female wrasse turn into males when they are very old.  The wrasse helps many oceans turn into males when they are very od.  The wrasse helps many ocean animals clean their teeth and gills.  #13
