n  Graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1987 with a BS in Elementary Education

n  Received my Gifted Education Certification in 1998

n   Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction from William Woods University 2011

Teaching Experience

n  Taught 3^rd & 6^th grades for 8 years in the Hazelwood School District in St. Louis before returning to Cape in 1996

n  Taught ISS/7^th Grade Gifted Ed., K-6 Gifted Ed., and 5-7 Gifted Ed. at L.J. Schultz from 1996- 2002

n  Taught 6^th-8^th Grade Gifted Ed. or 5^th-6^th Grade Gifted Ed. and keyboarding at CJHS from 2002-2007

n  Currently Teaching 5^th-6^th Grade Gifted Ed. at CMS and keyboarding at CJHS (since 2007)
