Team Spirit

Help young people fulfill their potential!

Welcome to the Team Spirit website. Our purpose in bringing this organization to Cape Central is to help young people reach their highest potential and to keep them away from the influence of drugs, alcohol, and violence.

Meeting Monday, September 20th to make posters for the “Awareness Fair”!

We will be selling our “Arrive Alive” T-shirts during all lunches on Thursday, Sept. 9 through Sept. 15th.  Members please help take orders during their lunches those days.

We will be walking in the SEMO Fair !  If you signed up, please be there.  The parade starts at 5:30.  We need to be at Capaha Park by 4:30!  We will hand out fliers on driving safety, to promote our Awareness Fair on the Sept. 29thand  candy.

Next meeting will be on Tuesday, Sept. 14 to finalize plans for the Awareness Fair in the Commons on Sept. 29th.  At the Awareness Fair, we will have a Highway Patrolman to speak on “Safe Driving”, there will be games for children, prizes to hand out, raffle, hot dogs and chips to sell. The Awareness Fair will begin at 6 PM and end at 8 PM.  The money earned will promote safe driving!

Team Spirit has puppets that have been purchased along with the scripts that encourage elementary students to “Buckle Up!’  It was discussed that we could have a puppet show at the Awareness Fair, if there were students interested in doing it.  Also, in the past, students have gone to the elementary schools to put on the puppet plays.  We will continue to discuss interest in this on the 14th.

$5 dues are due on September 10th and if you want a club shirt $7 is due on September 10th as well!

If you are interested in joining Team Spirit or have any questions about the organization, please feel free to
