The mission of the Cape
Central All-School Booster Club is to assist in
the promotion and recognition of
extra-curricular activities and to assist in the
recognition of students at Cape Central High
School. The activities of the Booster Club are
developed and directed by a board of 15
directors. The Booster Club completes its
mission through membership fees and by hosting
fundraising events with the proceeds used to
fund diverse extra-curricular activities.
Examples of funded requests submitted by the
faculty and staff of CHS include:
Lightning Detector & AED Defibrillator
Football Tackle & Blocking Sled
Missouri's Poet Laureate Speaking Fee
Cheerleading Banner (The Jungle)
Replacement Backs & Seats for Library Chairs
Speech & Debate Team Display Case
Digital Cameras & Lenses for the Newspaper and Yearbook
Staff
PA System for Outdoor Events
As you can see, we truly are an ALL SCHOOL
Booster Club. To be able to support the
extra-curricular activities, board members spend
a significant number of "behind the scenes"
hours organizing and working at the various fund
raising events. The Booster Club's major
fundraising events include our golf tournament,
merchandise sales, and concessions at several
events.
We are asking for your continued support of
CHS by becoming a member of the Booster Club.
There are several membership levels available
and your contribution is appreciated. Please
visit the booster club web page throughout the
year for information related to CHS and club
activities.
A link to the membership form is available at
the top of the page. Forms can be mailed to the
booster club or turned in during student
orientation days, back-to-school night, sports
kick-off dinners, or delivered to the CHS
office. In addition, you may contact Dr. Cowan,
Principal at CHS, Lance Tollison, Athletic
Director at CHS, or any Booster Club board
member. If you have an interest in becoming a
board member, joining and volunteering are great
ways to get started.
