Shoes is the most important equipment when being involved in cross country.  If you don't get the correct running shoe for you it could cause you to have many injuries and serious discomfort.  We want you to enjoy your running season and come back next year!  To find the perfect shoe for you first you need to find out what kind of arch you have.  A high, medium, or low arch.  You can test this by getting your barefoot wet and walking normally on dry pavement.  Look back at your steps and determine your arch.

Normal/Medium High Arch Low Arch/Flat Foot
If you have this type of print you have a normal arch.  This type of arch tends to roll inward a little to absorb shock. For this foot type you need a Stability Shoe. This will help with the rolling of the foot and the shock.           If you have this type of print you have a high arch. This foot type does not absorb any shock while running.  You will need a neutral cushioning shoes.           If you have this type of print you have a flat foot. The most common injury for flat footers is overuse.  The foot type absorbs so much shock its hard on the body.  The best shoe type for flat footers is the motion control shoe these have a flatter sole.
