Randolph's RoomCommunication Arts French I Exploratory Languages

Students enrolled in the semester long Exploratory Languages course have the opportunity to learn basic vocabulary in Spanish, French, and German.  Each day students utilize the 4 modes of communication to practice the target language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.   At the exploratory level, simple communication is the goal.
In addition, students may have the chance to learn a little Italian, Latin, or Japanese.

General Sites for Review

  •  Mrs. Randolph's Game Page - games are written by Mrs. R. to review specific lessons.  This is an excellent way to reinforce vocabulary and language skills.
  •  Glencoe Game Site - site is designed by the publisher of our textbook and correlates to the textbook.  Currently has only a few Spanish and French games, but aligned with book chapters.  Check it out!
  •  Explore Your World Project  - investigate a specific country of interest and use the presentational mode to share what you discovered with your classmates.
