2 Point Perspective - Cityscape
In this technical excercise we learn about height, width and the third dimension, depth. With this knowledge we can make a cube look like a cube. We also learn the basics of light and shadow in the beginning but this is not required for the final exercise. This is one of the harder assignments. This is most likely because subconsciously "we want a square to be a square", but as things get further away they get smaller. So how do we solve the proportion issue? Ask your student and see if they have retained this knowledge. Below are a few examples by students.
