The Graph Title
is the same as the original science investigation title.
 

Label
the x-axis
(horizontal) with the independent variable (IV).
 

Label
the y-axis
(vertical)  the dependent variable (DV).
 

Spread the scales out as far as you can on the x-axis & the y-axis.

 

Include units when labeling the sides of the graph (the x-axis & y-axis).
 

Create a key if you color coordinate the data.
 

Connect the lines on a line graph to zero.

 Only if  both the x-axis and the y-axis have numerical values.

 

Connect the plotted points
of a line graph.
 

Graph all data collected.
  Do not average values unless told to do so.
