Rainforest Discovery uses the movie, "Ferngully", to teach students about life in the rainforest and the dangers the rainforest faces today.

Students should know that ecosystems are interconnected by biological, chemical, and physical processes so that changes in one ecosystem can have local or global consequences.

Students will be able to observe and identify biological, chemical, or physical processes of one ecosystem that affect our ecosystems.

Instruction

Students will investigate plant and animal life in the rainforest and identify the effects of destruction.
Students will plan and make a poster presentation on a problem in  the rainforest.
Students will research and organize data from the internet to include in their power point presentation.
