Are you struggling with everyday parenting issues?

Educare is now offering "The Power of Parenting."

This is a free service that is customized for parents to gain a better understanding of child development, become more involved in the program their child attends, and provide alternatives in parenting practices. 

In addition to working with the parents of your program, we can also implement staff trainings on site during naptime because we know how difficult it can be to attend trainings after work.

START-UP and EXPANSION PROGRAM

The Start-Up and Expansion Program is available to child care providers who offer infant/toddler care in the following types of facilities:

  • Licensed-exempt facilities

  • Licensed centers

  • Licensed and unlicensed family home providers

  • Registered Vendors


 

The requirements for this program include:

  • Earning CDA credential

  • Becoming a licensed provider


 

The services Educare provides include:

  • Information on expectations with inspections

  • Licensing information and assistance

  • Information about community resources

  • Training opportunities

  • On-site training visits

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Classes

  • Toys and equipment (to those who qualify)

  • Accreditation assistance

  • Resource Room for providers to check out toys, equipment, and books

  • Technical assistance with start up of new child care programs

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE and TRAINING:

Educare offers technical assistance and training to child care providers who are looking to improve the quality of their program.  The services included with Educare's Technical Assistance and Training are:

 

  • Program observation and assessment

  • Goal setting to aid in improving the quality of services provided

  • Individualized help and assistance for all programs enrolled

  • Trainer available by phone for emergency situations or questions

  • Training available on various topics

  • Overall assistance to meet needs of the programs enrolled
